Menu Review Week of 9/5 and Fun Camera Stuff

11 Sep

Well, the first week of my “online” menu planning didn’t go too terribly.

We stuck to the menu on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and sort of on Friday. On Wednesday, we did our eating out for the week and picked up Jimmy Johns. On Thursday, we had the cabbage hotdish, and Friday, the tuna helper. Tonight we have a party/cookout to go to, so we’ll eat there, but I don’t consider that eating out. So, we’ll save spaghetti and pork burgers for another time.

I’m glad that you all are excited about my menu planning online. Our lives are pretty boring at this point, so having something focused to write about helps.

Here’s question for you. Do you call the last meal you eat each day dinner or supper?

Also- Jeff put an awesome camera app on my phone, so here’s a couple pictures using different effects from that. It’s called Vignette, and it’s an app you actually have to pay for, but in my opinion, it’s worth it.

We call the last meal midnight lunch. Seriously, we call it supper. Unfortunately, it seems we are rarely home to eat it. In less than a week, we had four potlucks.

Nice pictures for the phone. We have a Tracfone right now. We were paying $75/month for Verizon, but could not get service where we live.

I’m happy you are enjoying the app. I call it food but you know that.

Growing up, we called it supper. But most people I know now call it dinner, so sometimes I call it that too. I love that photo effect!

I call it supper. In my opinion, “dinner” is a confusing word. Some people use “dinner” to mean lunch, so at least there is no confusion about supper.

Supper! Although Jon called it “dinner” the other day, and we both had to stop and say “where did that come from?!”
